CLIENT: National Maritime Museum: Trinity House - Guiding Lights Exhibition
Illustration & Infographics
Caravan were thrilled when the National Maritime Museum got in touch asking if we would work with them on their Guiding Lights Exhibition. They tasked us with creating a group of large scale graphic illustrations that would be worthy of hanging on a museum wall and tell the story of the exhibition. With a fantastic nautical colour palette to work with, we developed an illustrative style that complimented the overall exhibition design being developed by the in-house NMM team. The final project included a group of icons to represent specific maritime dangers, a giant wall graphic (and we mean GIANT!) showing where these dangers occur and a map of the UK showing all of the lighthouses and light-vessels.
After it’s Royal opening, the exhibition is now open to the public:
16 April 2014–4 January 2016, National Maritime Museum, Greenwich.
