Brand Development, Logo Design + Signage
Parkwood Hall Co-Operative Academy is a warm, welcoming, inclusive day and residential school that caters for 7-19 year old students with a wide range of special educational needs.
PHCA approached me to help create a new brand identity that could be rolled out across multiple platforms; digital, school uniform, signage and printed materials. As a school PHCA has a very strong identity and key core philosophies that they were keen to communicate through their new brand.
The first step was for me to spend a day at Parkwood to get to know the true values of the school and get a real feel for the elements that needed to be incorporated into the new brand. I came back inspired by the staff, the children and the beautiful surroundings and started to build a new identity based on growth, development, nature and strength. The final brand has been rolled out with a great reaction from staff, children and parents.
